Jerk Alfredo Fettuccine Topped with Steak Recipe

If you love jerk flavors, Alfredo sauce and juicy steak...you will love this pasta! It's quick and pretty simple to make.

I had some chuck steak I needed to cook before it went bad and pasta is always safe in my house so made this dish the other night on the fly. Instantly after tasting it I'm hooked! We loved it and now it's being incorporated into a family fave!

Try it and let me know what you think!

Step by step recipe below:

Ingredients:

1 Strip Chuck Steak

1 Red Pepper

1 Green Pepper

1 White Onion

1 Box Fettuccine

2 Cups Shredded Parmesan Cheese

1 Pint Heavy Whipping Cream

Walkerswood Jerk Marinade Sauce (Your desired amount)

4 Tablespoon Butter

2 Tablespoon Minced Garlic

2 Tablespoon Olive Oil

2 Tablespoon Chopped Parsley

Black Pepper

Sea Salt

Directions:

Season both sides of steak with salt/pepper, minced garlic, half of the chopped parsley and 1 tablespoon olive oil. Allow the mixture to sit for at least 10 minutes. (This step can also be done several hours before to allow the flavors to marinate in the meat).

Boil pasta water and add pasta to boiling water and cook according to instructions on box.

Thinly slice pepper and onions in strips

Add 2 tablespoon olive oil, 2 tablespoon butter to a cast iron skillet and add steak. Cook on med-high heat for a few minutes on each side until steak has browned and reached your desired temperature.

Take cooked steak from skillet and place on cutting board to rest for a few minutes before cutting strips

In same skillet place 1 tablespoon olive oil in skillet and saute peppers and onions for a few minutes. Once tender begin Alfredo sauce.

Add 2 tablespoon butter, heavy cream in skillet and bring to a rapid boil

Add cheese and reduce heat. Stir cheese until evenly mixed. Season with a dash of salt/pepper.

Take a few drops of jerk marinade and add to cream mixture. (This sauce is HOT so only add a little.) Mix and taste to your desired flavor. Add more jerk sauce if you want more spice.

Once sauce is to your desired taste add noodles and give it a good stir ensuring the sauce, veggies and noodles are are mixed in well. Reduce heat to low.

Slice steak into thin strips and toss on top

Mix meat into pasta and top with parsley and additional shredded cheese if preferred

Serve immediately

Hope you enjoy this recipe!
